Our Off- Ice Hockey Training program has been designed specifically for Hockey players looking to take their game to the Next Level. Training today is such an integral part of sports and to compete at the highest level you must be physically and mentally prepared. Our program has 3 stages that are designed to teach the fundamentals and expand into functional Hockey Training to enable our athletes to outwork the competition in every aspect.
Stage 1 Dynamic Warm Ups – The foundation of our program. To begin teaching our athletes how to warm up the body and mind for training. Each warmup will flow through a range of movements that will enable the athlete to train at optimal levels.
Stage 2 Functional Hockey Training – We introduce complex movements with a focus on plyometrics to simulate practice and game type activities. Each series of movements will be part of a progression that will enable the full range of motion and strength to perform at optimal levels.
Stage 3 Flexibility - Most important to any training program. Help our athletes expand range of motion and capabilities on and off the ice. Research has shown that flexibility is one of the largest issues young athletes face today. Their bodies are not prepared and at most times capable of specific movements due to the lack of flexibility, our focus in this are alone will show tremendous results in performance.
We will instill our philosophies on training and recovery upon our athletes so they can take this knowledge and use it to stay flexible and prepared during the season.
